Murphy, Doyle, Altmire Announce $3.2 Million Federal Transportation Investment

The Port Authority of Allegheny County will receive $3.2 million in federal money to buy new buses for its aging fleet, U.S. Reps. Mike Doyle, and Jason Altmire announced last week.

This money will come from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Capital Investment Program, one of two federal programs that provide local governments roughly $10 billion annually for vehicles and facilities.
