Tim has devoted his entire career to making a difference in the lives of families and children.

Tim has consistently supported, and will continue to support, the Constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms.

No country in history has ever taxed itself to prosperity. For that reason, Tim has been a strong supporter of middle class tax relief that puts money back in the hands of Western Pennsylvania families. Tim supports permanently eliminating the marriage tax penalty and has also introduced legislation that would make the $1,000 Child Tax Credit permanent.

Illegal immigration cost U.S. taxpayers over $100 billion each year. Securing our nation’s borders is essential not just to our national security, but also to our economic security.

To eliminate illegal immigration, we must eliminate the incentives that make illegal immigration so profitable.

To accomplish this, Tim supports the following:

1) No Amnesty

Endorsed by both labor and business groups, Tim has united Republicans and Democrats in the pursuit of the economic security our families deserve.

When Tim went to Harrisburg as a state senator, he immediately took on the powerful entrenched interests, and pushed through a Patients' Bill of Rights for all Pennsylvanians. This landmark legislation guaranteed that patients – not their insurance companies – would pick their doctor.

From farms and factories, to energy producers and health care providers, our community has a diverse economy. But for our region -– and the country -- to succeed in a global marketplace, we must ensure that our high school and college graduates are trained to be the brightest and most innovative workers in the world.
